Why This Matters
This simple addition can significantly improve logistics planning and customer experience for both merchants and third-party fulfillment services:
-
Clear Shipping Expectations
You can now communicate estimated ship dates when accepting fulfillment requests improving transparency for merchants and end customers. -
Better System Coordination
ERP or warehouse systems can use this estimate to prioritize packing or trigger downstream logistics flows more intelligently. -
Planning and SLA Tracking
Helps fulfillment partners manage expectations, monitor KPIs, and reduce miscommunication in high-volume workflows.
What You Should Do

Audit your mutation logic around

-
Test both display and acceptance flows to verify the estimated date shows up properly in merchant admin or client notifications.
